On Wednesday 13th December, Sixth Form students organised a day of fundraising activities.

Sixth form students got into the spirit of Christmas by organising fun activities throughout the day to raise funds for The Childrens’ Trust Charity.

The day started with Sixth Form taking part in a cyclathon from 8:30am to 3pm. Students and staff took turns at keeping the cycle continuous throughout the day.

Students were able to purchase a selection of festive cakes made by the Sixth Form students in the cake sale, guess the elf’s name, guess the weight on the elf hat filled with an array of sweets during break and lunchtime.

The finale of the day was an elf run at the end of the school day around the school field. Well done to all the Sixth form students and staff who brought an elf hat and took part in either sprinting, running, jogging or walking. They did an amazing job in the cold, rain and wind!

I think everyone will agree it was a lovely school community event to raise funds for a very worthy charity.
