Students and staff wore festive jumpers to raise funds for the local charity, The Greenaway Foundation.

Mr Corbett, Headteacher welcomed everyone to the end of term Christmas assembly.

We heard how superb the school production of Alice in Wonderland was.  The panto has gone from strength to strength each year. It is so wonderful to see so many of our students performing to such a consistently high standard.

Mrs Murphy-Dunn spoke of the fantastic fund-raising our students have done for the various charities throughout the year.

Children in Need £902.00
Christmas Jumper Day £374.00
Elf Run £450.00
35 food hampers were collected by the Easter Team.

We celebrated, congratulated and awarded students for their successes in PE, STEM, Accelerated Learning, Aviation without Borders, Historical Associations Great Debate, BEBRAS awards and many more.  Well done and keep up the amazing work.

There was a fantastic performance from the Dance YES Project, Sixth Form band, school rock band and a reading – Twas the night before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore

To end the assembly, we said our farewells to Mr Atherton who is leaving us this term and wished him good luck for the futures.

We would like to wish all our students and their families a peaceful and enjoyable Christmas break.
