Key Stage 4 Options

Students have the opportunity to choose some subjects to continue into Year 10 and 11 as part of the Key Stage 4 Options process, which takes place in Year 9. For current Year 9 students, more information about how this process will operate will be communicated to students and their families after the October half-term break. Students will have the opportunity to personalise their curriculum to some extent as they move into Key Stage 4, and will be able to choose four option subjects alongside the Core Curriculum of English, Maths and Science. Students will receive a significant amount of support for this process and we remain committed to ensuring all students continue to experience a broad, balanced and rich curriculum. The Key Stage 4 Options process will be completed by the end of February.

Key dates for your diary are below:

21^st November 2024: Data Entry Point 1

16^th January 2025: Options Evening (16:00-19:00 at ICC)

6^th February 2025: Year 9 Parents’ Consultation Evening (Virtual)
