Year 9 enjoyed taking part in a Hip Hop literacy workshop delivered by renowned author, poet and rapper called Breiss. He inspired creativity with students on how to create their own poems and raps by using iambic pentameter, a language device regularly used in poetry.
Supporting homeless people is fun
The winter frostbite made them numb
Got to get food and a blanket
They look to the heavens and thank it
