Celebrating Diversity, Equality and Inclusion.

This half term, our focus on Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) has continued to grow, with a number of exciting and meaningful events taking place.

A highlight was our fourth annual Diversity Say, which brought the school community together in celebration and support of three incredible local charities: Refugees Welcome Crawley, Crawley LGBTQ+ , and Autism Support Crawley. Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of students and staff, we were able to raise funds and awareness for these vital causes.

Throughout the day, lessons took on a diversity theme, giving students the opportunity to explore and reflect on different cultures, identities, and experiences. One particular popular activity was a Capoeira workshop – a Brazilian martial art that combines dance, music, acrobatics, and self defence. Students embraced the experience with energy and curiosity, and it was fantastic to see so many getting involved.
