Students from Year 12 and 13 Business, Economics, Accounting and Law attended a day of activities, lectures and tours at Goldsmiths University.

The students had taster lessons led by Senior University Lecturers Dr Marta Minetti and Dr Mark McCulloch. These sessions focused on the skills and qualities that are required to completing University degrees and the various assessment techniques that are used on university courses.

Students also received advice on completing University applications, supporting statements and financial requirements in higher Education.

Mr Darbyshire – Associate Senior Leader “The personalised learning day for Ifield students was delivered in a very calm and relaxed atmosphere, and it gave our students a greater insight into the Law and Management courses available and the style of learning that takes place within higher Education”.

Evelin Sumegi- Year 13 Law Student- “It was a brilliant day at Goldsmiths. I found out much more about the University life and most importantly what Universities require in applications and supporting statements. I loved the law lecture, the Lecturer Dr Minetti, was so knowledgeable, but so chilled and relaxed in her delivery. A great insight into university”

Ifield Community College and Goldsmiths University will have many more events taking place in the future.
