We had the pleasure of welcoming author and poet Matt Goodfellow to our school today. He is the author of The Final Year, the book given to all ICC Year 6 students on Transition Day to read over the summer holidays before starting Year 7.
Matt delivered a whole Year 7 assembly, where he spoke about how he first discovered his passion for writing at the age of 13. Throughout the day, he also led a series of workshops for selected students, inspiring them and helping to spark their imaginations as they explored writing their own poems
