A huge thank you to all our students and staff who took part in and our families for supporting our Annual Sponsored Walk on Friday 10th July. Despite the hot weather, everyone showed fantastic enthusiasm, determination, and resilience as they completed the walk together. It was wonderful to see such a strong sense of community spirit throughout the day.
This year’s event was held to raise money for two very important charities: St Catherine’s Hospice and TOFS. These charities provide invaluable care, support, and guidance to individuals and families, and we are proud to support the incredible work they do.
The children were a credit to the school, encouraging one another throughout the walk and demonstrating kindness, perseverance, and teamwork. We are especially proud to share that one of our pupils; Tony McGinn raised an incredible £405 through their individual sponsorship—an outstanding achievement and a wonderful example of generosity and commitment.
So far, our school community has raised an amazing £3,784 with donations still coming in. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who sponsored our walkers and helped make the event such a success.
Thank you once again for your generosity and continued support. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference to the important work of St Catherine’s Hospice and TOFS. We are extremely proud of what our school community has achieved together.
