Entry Requirements:

Grade 4 in GCSE English Language or GCSE English literature.

It would be advantageous if the learner had completed Health and Social Care at GCSE.

Course Overview:

This qualification is for learners 16 years old or over who want to study health science, social care or childcare. It will provide learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding to progress into Higher Education on a health and social care-related programme such as Health and Social Care, Nursing, Social Work or Early Childhood Studies.

It will provide learners with the opportunity, through applied learning, to develop the core specialist knowledge, skills and understanding required in the health and social care sector.
