Key Stage 4 Options
Students have the opportunity to choose some subjects to continue into Year 10 and 11 as part of the Key Stage 4 Options process, which takes place in Year 9. Students will have the opportunity to personalise their curriculum to some extent as they move into Key Stage 4, and will be able to choose four option subjects alongside the Core Curriculum of English, Maths and Science. Students will receive a significant amount of support for this process and we remain committed to ensuring all students continue to experience a broad, balanced and rich curriculum. The Key Stage 4 Options process will be completed by the end of February.
Key dates for your diary are below:
6th November 2025: Data Entry Point 1
15th January 2026: Options Evening (4:30-6:30pm at ICC)
5th February 2026: Year 9 Parents’ Consultation Evening (4-7pm Virtual)
27th February 2026: Option choices deadline (12pm)
