Students and staff ‘Do Something Funny for Money’ on Friday 15th March to raise funds for Red Nose Day 2024.

Students dressed in home clothes for the day and were surprised to arrive at school to see staff wearing ICC school uniform. How they enjoyed issuing C3 sanctions to staff for not following the correct uniform!

Students spent the morning break and lunch raising funds on organised fund-raising stalls from guessing the pet to the teacher, plastic cup shooting challenge, ring toss, face painting and not forgetting tape the headteacher to the wall and many, many more.

Luckily, the rain held off for the end of the day. Six of the Senior Leadership team with the most student votes were to be ‘gunged’. Anticipation was building all day with the last votes being taken by 1:30pm. It was all hush, hush to the very last moment. Not even SLT knew their fate with the bucket contents.

We hope you all had a very enjoyable day. Thank you for all your donations that will help put food on plates and roofs over heads, keep little ones safe and help support families affected by conflict and climate change.

Well done, we raised £1196.00 for a good cause.
